Job summary

Worley is seeking an Electrical Designer Level I in Navi Mumbai to join our design team. You will develop detailed electrical system designs for industrial, oil & gas, refinery and chemical projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and providing safe, efficient solutions.

The role requires hands-on proficiency in ACAD, plus familiarity with MicroStation, S3D and E3D. You will lead design coordination with other disciplines and support energy-efficient, reliable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design for industrial, oil & gas, refinery and chemical projects.
• Proficiency in ACAD and creating single-line diagrams/ schemes.
• Knowledge of IEC, IS codes, NFPA and local regulations.

The Role
As an Electrical Designer Level I with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed electrical system designs for projects, ensuring compliance with international standards, and delivering safe, reliable, and energy-efficient solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, proficiency in design software, and the ability to lead design coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Design Development:
• Proficiency in ACAD.
• Prepare single-line diagrams and schemes.
• Design of power distribution systems, lighting layouts with calculation & circuiting, earthing/ lightning layouts, Power and cable routing layouts with MTO.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IS codes, NFPA, and local regulations.
• Knowledge of MicroStation, S3D, E3D will be added advantage.
• Experience resolving site issues during energization.
• Coordination & Documentation:
• Collaborate with other disciplines for integrated design solutions.
• Energy Efficiency & Safety:
• Incorporate energy-efficient technologies and sustainable design principles.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and reliability requirements.
• Support value engineering exercises to optimize cost without compromising quality.
  

About You

• To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
• Required experience 4 - 10 Years.
• Diploma in electrical engineering or ITI draftsman course from reputed college or university.
• Experience in electrical design for Industrial, OIL and Gas, Refinery, and chemical projects.
• Good analytical, communication, coordination and leadership skills.
