Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical design with LT panels.
• Familiar with IEC, IS standards and safety practices.
• Ability to prepare SLDs, BOMs and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), control schematics, wiring diagrams and GA drawings for LT Panels.
• Select switchgear components, busbars, cables and protective devices.
• Calculate fault levels, short circuit withstand capacity and busbar sizing.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC/IS standards and customer specs; incorporate safety features.
• Coordinate with Sales for technical proposals and tender documentation; support Production and FAT.

Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our team for the design and development of LT (Low Tension) Panels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, relevant industry standards, and hands-on experience in preparing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), control schematics, wiring diagrams, and GA (General Arrangement) drawings for LT Panels.
• Select appropriate switchgear components, busbars, cables, and protective devices.
• Calcuate electrical parameters such as fault levels, short circuit withstand capacity, and busbar sizing.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure cost-effective design without compromising quality or compliance.

Standards & Compliance

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant IEC, IS, and customer specifications.
• Integ rate safety features and adhere to best practices in electrical panel design.

Coordination & Support

• Coll borate with the sales team for technical proposals and tender documentation.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate manufacturing of panels as per design.
• Assist in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and resolve design-related issues.
