Job summary

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2–8 years in controls & panel design in an industrial environment.
• Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics; PID control and motor control principles.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with IEEE, UL508 and NFPA70 standards.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine detailed controls design, including hardware and software specifications for distribution transformers.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project teams to integrate control systems.
• Develop and support functional testing plans for control cabinets, including on-site startup and calibration.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot existing control panels, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Stay current with technologies and best practices in controls engineering and propose innovations.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and test plans for validation and compliance.

How you’ll make an impact

Your background

• B.E / B. Tech Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 2 to 8 Years working in controls & panel design, programming, and implementation in an industrial environment. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
• Experience with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
• Solid knowledge of Electrical schematics; PID control, and motor control principles.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of IEEE, UL508 and NFPA70 standards.
• Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
