Job summary

Shri Krishna Placement in Vadodara seeks an Electrical Design Engineer with 15-20 years of experience to lead independent HV, MV and LV electrical engineering design for oil and gas, refinery, LNG and petrochemical projects. You will generate key single-line diagrams and device datasheets with minimal guidance from DM/PM.

The role covers protection diagrams, cable sizing, load flow and arc-flash studies using ETAP, plus layout work for substations, cable trays, earthing, and hazardous-area

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 15–20 years of relevant experience in oil and gas, refinery, LNG, petrochemical projects.
• Experience with SLDs, metering/protection diagrams, data sheets and load lists.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV, MV and LV electrical engineering design with minimal guidance.
• Create single-line diagrams and protection diagrams.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, and relay coordination studies.
• Develop layouts for cable trays, earthing and lighting.
• Assist in procurement support and vendor document reviews.

Job Description :Able to Lead independently HV, MV and LV Electrical engineering design scope in Oil and Gas, Refinery, LNG, Petrochemical Industry, Greenfield and Brownfield projects with minimum guidance from DM / PM. Experience in generating Key Single Line Diagram and Detailed Single Line Diagrams, Metering & Protection Diagrams, Design Basis, Specifications, Data sheets, Electrical Load List, Sizing Calculation of all Electrical Equipment. Experience in Electrical calculations viz., equipment sizing, cable sizing, lighting calculations. Hands-on experience of Power System Studies using ETAP, Load Flow, short circuit analysis, Relay coordination & Arc flash study using ETAP software. Hands on experience in handling layout engineering such as Power cable tray routing, Earthing, lighting layouts, Substation Equipment Layouts etc. Hands-on experience in Electrical equipment selection for the Hazardous area and preparation of Hazardous area layouts. Hands-on experience in design of outdoor switchyards (AIS / GIS) and it's layouts upto 66kV, 132kV, 220kV etc is an added advantage. Procurement Support by developing Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Query (TQ), Technical Bid-Evaluation (TBE), Vendor document & drawing reviews (VDRN) etc. Experience in design of special packages such as Electrical Heat tracing design, Lightning Protection System Design and develop layouts. Hands-on experience in Design of Energy management system (EMS) & Power management System (PMS), Load Flow, Loadshedding System etc are an added advantage.
