Job summary

Global Engineering Consulting Services in Hyderabad, India seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to support panel layout and electrical equipment planning. You will use AUTOCAD Electrical and related Autodesk tools to produce accurate drawings and BOMs.

You will work on one-line and three-line diagrams, cable tray layouts, earthing schemes, and power supply basics, translating concepts into project-ready deliverables while collaborating with engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge and exposure to control panel.
• Preparation and understanding of panel layout.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and understand panel layout roles and responsibilities.
• Electrical equipment layout, cable tray layout, earthing layout.
• Experience in instrumentation or electrical in detail engineering.
• Understand one line & three line drawings.
• Basic knowledge of power supplies, voltages and components used.
• Experience in AUTOCAD/AutoCAD Electrical/AutoDesk Inventor.
• Create project specific network architecture.
• Leverage automation tools to improve design process.
• Create Excel Wire Label Lists from AutoCAD.
• Create Bill of materials for cabinets.
