Job summary

JobItUs is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in India for hands-on panel design work. You will craft LT, PCC, MCC and PLC panels, produce AutoCAD drawings, SLDs and BOMs while coordinating with production and projects to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 1–3 years of relevant experience and strong wiring/reading drawings skills. On-site role with exposure to industrial automation projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in Electrical Panel Design.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Electrical panel design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design LT, PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC and control panels.
• Prepare GA drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
• Coordinate with production and project teams for execution and testing.

About the Role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Electrical Panel Design. The candidate should have strong knowledge of designing LT Panels, Control Panels,
PCC, MCC, APFC, and other industrial electrical panels used in industrial and automation projects.
Candidates having experience in panel manufacturing companies, electrical design firms, automation companies, or EPC industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare electrical panel drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare:
• o GA Drawings
• o SLD (Single Line Diagram)
• o Control Wiring Diagrams
• o Power Wiring Diagrams
• o Panel Layouts
• o Terminal Details
• o BOM (Bill of Materials)
• Design LT Panels, PCC Panels, MCC Panels, APFC Panels, PLC Panels, and Control Panels.
• Select electrical components as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with production and project teams for smooth execution.
• Understand customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with electrical standards and project requirements.
• Support manufacturing and testing teams during panel assembly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Electrical Panel Design.
• Strong knowledge of:
• o AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical
• o Electrical Panel Design
• o LT Panels & Control Panels
• o Electrical Schematics & Wiring
• Knowledge of electrical components such as MCCB, ACB, VFD, PLC, relays, contactors,
• and switchgear.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
