Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical panel design.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and SLDs.
• Experience with BOQ preparation and component selection.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare Electrical Control Panels and Distribution Panels.
• Prepare electrical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Prepare SLDs, control circuits, and wiring diagrams.
• Select suitable components (MCB/MCCB, contactors, relays, timers, VFDs, PLCs, SMPS, meters).
• Prepare BOQ and material requirements for panels.
• Coordinate with panel manufacturing/production for assembly and wiring.
• Check wiring, drawings, and component specifications.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control circuit issues.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and site teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with practical knowledge of Electrical Panel Design, AutoCAD, electrical drawings, and panel components. The candidate will be responsible for preparing panel drawings, selecting components, preparing BOQ, and coordinating with the production and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare Electrical Control Panels and Distribution Panels.
• Prepare electrical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), control circuit diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Select suitable electrical components such as MCB, MCCB, contactors, relays, timers, VFDs, PLCs, SMPS, meters, etc.
• Prepare BOQ and material requirements for panels.
• Coordinate with the panel manufacturing/production team for panel assembly and wiring.
• Check panel wiring, drawings, and component specifications.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control circuit issues.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and site teams when required.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and technical specifications.

Required Skills

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of Electrical Panel Design and Panel Wiring.
• Knowledge of SLD, control circuits, power circuits, and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical protection devices and control components.
• Basic knowledge of PLC/VFD and industrial automation will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of BOQ and electrical material estimation.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.

Preferred Candidate

Candidate with hands-on experience in LT Panels, Control Panels, AMF Panels, APFC Panels, MCC Panels, DB Panels, and automation panels will be preferred.
