Job summary

Egis in Gurugram, India, seeks an experienced electrical engineer to perform load calculations, voltage drop studies, cable sizing and short-circuit analyses, and to produce SLDs, schematics, layouts, and detailed drawings.

You will coordinate with mechanical, process, civil, structural, and architecture teams; review vendor drawings and submittals; mentor junior engineers; and support construction and commissioning, ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC and NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Prepare electrical load, voltage drop, cable sizing, and short-circuit calculations.
• Develop SLDs, schematics, layouts, and detailed design drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, civil, structural and architecture disciplines.
• Review vendor drawings, submittals, and equipment specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and value engineering discussions with clients.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA and other standards.
• Support project execution during construction and commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables.
• Prepare technical reports, BOQs, specifications, and engineering documentation.
