Job summary

East India Udyog is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to perform electrical system design and equipment sizing for STP/WTP projects. You will prepare load lists, SLDs, cable schedules, and BOQ for tender engineering and conduct technical evaluation of vendor drawings and datasheets (PCC, MCC, pump, motors, etc.).

You will also support pre-tender engineering and cost estimation, sizing calculations for transformers, switchgear, capacitor banks, lighting, short circuit, earthing and lighting,

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical system design for water/waste water treatment plants or similar projects is preferred.
• Ability to prepare load lists, SLDs, cable schedules and BOQ for tender engineering.
• Experience evaluating vendor drawings and datasheets (PCC, MCC, pump, motors).

Role & responsibilities

• Perform electrical system design and equipment sizing for STP/WTP projects.
• Prepare load lists, SLDs, cable schedules, and BOQ for tender engineering.
• Conduct technical evaluation of vendor drawings and datasheets (PCC, MCC, Pump, Motors Etc.)
• Support pre-tender engineering and cost estimation.
• Sizing Calculation of Transformers, Switchgear, capacitor bank, lighting, Short circuit, earthing & Lighting.
• Managed electrical works with site team, ensuring completion within schedule and budget.
• Prepare Preparation and checking of drawings, SLDs, Basic Engineering Documents, Cable Sizing Calculations, Cable Schedules, cable tray layout, earthing layout and Lighting layout, Instrument List, PLC Panel Drawing with IO List, Instrument Data Sheet, Transformer and DG set GA & Data Sheet etc.
• during installation of transformers, MCC panels and PLC systems.
• Designing of all relevant equipment like transformers, electrical panel, control panel, SCADA System & automation.
• Knowledge of Process Design of Water/Waste Water treatment plan or Oil & Gas or Power.
