Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to airport and infrastructure projects in Bengaluru. You will design and implement electrical systems, prepare diagrams, perform load analyses, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into large-scale facilities.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in building electrical engineering, experience with North American projects, and proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering within buildings.
• Experience working on projects with North America is highly desirable.
• Solid experience designing Fire Alarm and life safety systems.
• Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD is an asset

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of electrical systems for airport projects, infrastructure, or building projects.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams, Panel Schedules, Select electrical equipment such as transformers, switchboards etc
• Perform electrical load calculations, short‑circuit analyses, fault current calculations, lighting levels and voltage drop calculations
• Review Shop Drawings
• Develop and maintain design documentation, specifications, and reports in accordance with industry standards
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into larger projects
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local codes, and industry best practices
• Participate in client and project meetings, providing valuable input and insights
