Job summary

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Engineer - Electrical to join our Bengaluru team. You will assist senior engineers in designing and analyzing electrical circuits, running simulations with MATLAB/SPICE, and helping document design and testing procedures.

You will collaborate with mechanical and software engineers on integrated solutions, support deployment from concept to implementation, and ensure compliance with safety standards and industry specs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems, electronics or related field.
• Strong knowledge of circuit analysis, electrical theory, and design principles.
• Proficiency with electrical design and simulation software MATLAB, SPICE, or equivalents.
• Experience with CAD software for electrical design and schematic creation.
• Knowledge of safety standards and electrical codes relevant to the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in designing and analyzing electrical circuits and systems using industry-standard software and tools.
• Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and modeling to support project requirements and validate designs.
• Conduct troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and systems.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and project records.
• Participate in testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Organize and maintain project files, documentation, and technical data in a systematic manner.
• Support the development and implementation of electrical solutions from concept through deployment.
