Job summary

Post a Resume in Ahmedabad, India seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to design LT, PCC, MCC, APFC and other industrial panels. The role requires hands-on AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical experience and the ability to read electrical drawings.

You will collaborate with production and project teams, select components, and ensure designs meet customer specs and standards. Opportunities for growth and exposure to industrial projects are available.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in Electrical Panel Design.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical and reading electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical panel drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare GA Drawings, SLD (Single Line Diagram), control wiring diagrams, power wiring diagrams, panel layouts, terminal details, and BOM.
• Design LT Panels, PCC Panels, MCC Panels, APFC Panels, PLC Panels, and control panels.
• Select electrical components per project requirements.
• Coordinate with production and project teams for smooth execution.
• Understand customer specifications and ensure designs meet standards.
• Support manufacturing and testing teams during panel assembly.

About the Role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with hands‑on experience in Electrical Panel Design. The candidate should have strong knowledge of designing LT Panels, Control Panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, and other industrial electrical panels used in industrial and automation projects. Candidates having experience in panel manufacturing companies, electrical design firms, automation companies, or EPC industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare electrical panel drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare:
  • GA Drawings
  • SLD (Single Line Diagram)
  • Control Wiring Diagrams
  • Power Wiring Diagrams
  • Panel Layouts
  • Terminal Details
  • BOM (Bill of Materials)
• Design LT Panels, PCC Panels, MCC Panels, APFC Panels, PLC Panels, and Control Panels.
• Select electrical components as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with production and project teams for smooth execution.
• Understand customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with electrical standards and project requirements.
• Support manufacturing and testing teams during panel assembly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Electrical Panel Design.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical
• Electrical Panel Design
• LT Panels & Control Panels
• Electrical Schematics & Wiring
• Knowledge of electrical components such as MCCB, ACB, VFD, PLC, relays, contactors, and switchgear.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
