Job summary

Virtual Building Studio in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is seeking a Specialist – BIM Electrical with 3+ years of Electrical BIM experience to support project execution, coordination, and delivery. You will manage activities, ensure BIM standards compliance, and contribute to timely deliverables.

The role requires strong knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, with a focus on quality and collaboration across teams. The position is on-site in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in Electrical BIM modeling.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of BIM standards, workflows, coordination, and deliverables.
• Good planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Experience working on US-based or international projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for Electrical projects.
• Plan and execute assigned project activities, including task allocation and resource coordination.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Create, review, and manage Electrical BIM models and associated documentation.
• Ensure model accuracy and compliance with project requirements, BIM standards, and quality guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams, BIM Leads, Managers, and other stakeholders to resolve project-related issues.
• Identify workflow gaps, troubleshoot technical challenges, and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and coordination records.
• Support project handovers, documentation closure, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to effective resource utilization and overall project efficiency.

• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/BIM 360: Model sharing, collaboration, and document management.
• Dynamo: Knowledge of BIM automation and workflow optimization will be an advantage.
• Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
