Role Description The Electrical Autocad Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru East. The engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems for industrial and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design specifications, developing single-line diagrams, cable routing, and panel schedules, and coordinating closely with project engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation of electrical designs. The role involves reviewing and updating drawings based on engineering changes, adhering to relevant codes and standards, and maintaining documentation and drawing registers. The engineer will also support design reviews, resolve technical queries, and contribute to continuous improvement of electrical design workflows and drafting practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, Electricity, and Power Systems, with the ability to apply these principles to practical design work.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design and Power Distribution, including creating detailed layouts, single-line diagrams, and schedules for varied projects.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD tools for electrical drafting, detailing, and revision management.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
• Experience in industrial, plant, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to digital engineering tools and processes within an Industry 4.0 context.
