Job summary

Hitachi Energy India Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an Application Engineer to calculate and validate relay settings for lines, transformers, bus couplers, busbars, generators and motors, and to coordinate OC/E/F.

You will work with IED configuration tools (PCM600, DIGSI, Agile Studio, Easergy Studio) and fault-analysis software (Wavein/Sigra), interpret schematics, and train customers on protective functions while upholding safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in relay panels, protection, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Calculate and validate relay settings for line, transformer, bus coupler, busbar, generator and motor.
• Coordinate protection schemes OC/E/F and interpretation of schematics.
