Job summary

Techbridge Resources seeks an experienced PMC Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to oversee E&I engineering activities from design through commissioning on behalf of the client. You will ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, cost, schedule and quality requirements.

8–15 years of hands-on E&I experience is required, with a BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Instrumentation or Electronics. This full-time role is based at project sites and offices in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.
• Master's degree is optional/preferred.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Review E&I engineering deliverables including SLDs, load lists, power distribution, cable sizing and routing.
• Review DCS/PLC/SCADA control system architecture and ensure design compliance with IEC/IEEE standards.
• Participate in HAZOP, SIL and design review workshops.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and monitor vendor deliverables.
• Provide technical support during construction and review installation practices.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities and support troubleshooting.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PMC Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to oversee, review and coordinate E&I engineering activities from design through commissioning on behalf of the client, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, cost, schedule and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review E&I engineering deliverables including SLDs, load lists, power distribution, cable sizing & routing, instrument index and datasheets.
• Review DCS/PLC/SCADA control system architecture and ensure design compliance with applicable IEC, NEC, ISA and IEEE standards.
• Participate in HAZOP, SIL and design review workshops.
• Review vendor drawings, documents and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and monitor vendor deliverables.
• Support technical bid evaluations for E&I packages.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Civil and Process.
• Track engineering progress and identify design risks and mitigation measures.
• Provide technical support during construction and review installation practices.
• Handle site queries, deviations and change management.
• Conduct site inspections and audits.
• Review and approve FAT, SAT and Loop Checking procedures.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities and support troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Prepare and review technical and progress reports and maintain project documentation.
