Job summary

Silver Track Systems & Services Pvt.Ltd. is seeking an experienced EHS Officer to lead on-site compliance, conduct safety audits, and champion proactive safety practices across our project sites.

Responsibilities include implementing EHS policies, conducting risk assessments, coordinating with project teams and clients, delivering site inductions and toolbox talks, investigating incidents, and maintaining PTW logs and safety metrics to drive continuous improvement on site.

Qualifications

• Education aligned with engineering or environmental science; bachelor’s or diploma.
• Certified EHS credentials preferred (ADIS/PDIS, NEBOSH IGC, IOSH).
• 3–5 years of on-site EHS experience in relevant sectors.
• Knowledge of Indian safety laws and permit-to-work systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety execution across active project sites.
• Carry out routine site safety inspections, hazard identification, and JSA/HIRA.
• Maintain compliance with statutory labor/safety regulations and client EHS standards.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks (TBT), and safety training for personnel and subcontractors.
• Lead root-cause investigations for incidents and track CAPA to closure.
• Oversee PPE inventory, inspection, distribution, and usage compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, client safety reps, and auditors.
• Maintain EHS documentation, permits-to-work logs, and monthly safety metrics.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced EHS Officer to lead on-site compliance, conduct safety audits, and champion proactive safety practices across our project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Site safety execution: Implement, monitor, and enforce EHS policies, safe work procedures, and client-specific guidelines across active project sites.
• Audits & risk management: Carry out routine site safety inspections, hazard identification, and job safety risk assessments (HIRA/JSA).
• Compliance management: Maintain full compliance with statutory labor/safety regulations, local legal frameworks, and contractual EHS standards.
• Safety training: Conduct site inductions, daily toolbox talks (TBT), and periodic safety training for company personnel and subcontractor teams.
• Incident investigation: Lead root-cause investigations for all incidents, accidents, and near misses; track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
• PPE & equipment oversight: Oversee the inventory, inspection, distribution, and mandatory usage of PPE and specialized safety gear.
• Cross-functional coordination: Liaise closely with project managers, site engineers, client safety representatives, and external auditors to ensure seamless site operations.
• Documentation & reporting: Maintain comprehensive EHS documentation, statutory registers, permit-to-work (PTW) logs, and monthly safety metrics.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
• Certifications: Recognized certification in Industrial Safety (ADIS/PDIS), NEBOSH (IGC), IOSH, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience: 3–5 years of on-site EHS experience, ideally within AV systems integration, electrical installations, ICT, or commercial interior/fit-out projects.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Indian statutory safety laws, permit-to-work systems, electrical safety, work-at-height protocols, and hazard mitigation.
• Interpersonal skills: Strong communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills to influence safety practices on the ground.
