Job summary

JLL in Chennai, India seeks a regional EHS lead to implement and sustain health, safety and environmental programs. The role focuses on ensuring compliance for clients and JLL, managing ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems, and driving continual improvement through risk assessments and training.

The candidate will coordinate with regional operations to address regulatory changes and implement best practices across all locations, while maintaining high safety standards and robust incident

Qualifications

• Must have experience implementing EHS and compliance programs across a region.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety systems and standards.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement controls.
• Experience guiding operations teams on regulatory changes and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of EHS and compliance programs across the region.
• Ensure client and JLL EHS requirements are fully implemented and complied with.
• Lead and manage OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 system requirements; sustain the system and support certification.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement controls.
• Handle incident management and reporting.
• Develop/tracking training calendars and rollout across region.
• Advise on legislative changes and enable planning for compliance.
• Coordinate with Corporate Risk Manager for new programs and improvements.
• Implement best practices across all managed locations.

• To lead implementation of EH&S and compliance programs/ initiatives across the region

• Implementation of best practices programmes across all managed locations
