Job summary

JLL in Gurugram is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead health, safety and environmental compliance across facilities. You will develop and enforce policies, conduct audits, and drive risk reduction in a fast-paced real estate environment.

The role requires coordinating with regulators, delivering training, managing environmental programs, and supporting green building initiatives such as LEED. On-site position with 48 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing health and safety programs in line with regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct safety audits and incident investigations.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA standards.
• Experience in environmental programs and waste management.
• Ability to deliver EHS training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Investigate workplace incidents; prepare reports and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other standards.
• Maintain records of inspections, training, incidents, and filings.
• Oversee environmental programs including waste management, energy usage, water usage, and pollution control.
• Monitor environmental compliance and sustainability goals.
• Support green building initiatives and certifications.
• Design and deliver EHS training programs.
• Conduct safety inductions, emergency response drills, fire safety training, and toolbox talks.
• Promote proactive safety culture through awareness campaigns and continuous engagement.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, and crisis management protocols.
• Coordinate with local emergency services and ensure readiness of emergency equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and industry best practices.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports, permits, and documentation as required.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and third-party agencies during inspections and audits.
• Work closely with facility management, operations, contractors, and tenants to promote safety and environmental standards.
• Provide expert guidance and support to leadership on EHS matters.
