Responsibilities

  • Drive and foster a strong EHS culture across the facility via engagement, awareness programs and safety campaigns.
  • Develop and implement desktop applications, dashboards, and digital tools to support EHS reporting and analytics.
  • Monitor compliance with EHS laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Lead EHS requirements during new projects, process changes and machinery installations.
  • Manage Contractor Safety programs including qualification, onboarding, risk assessment and compliance checks.
  • Support ISO 14001:2015 EMS implementation and continual improvement.
  • Contribute to ESG initiatives and sustainability performance tracking.
  • Promote digitalization in EHS with AI-based solutions and smart safety tools.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, inspections and CAPA tracking.
  • Prepare EHS reports and management review materials.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent EHS personto join our team and drive excellence in Environment, Health, and Safety across our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening the organization's safety culture, ensuring statutory compliance, driving sustainability initiatives, and leveraging digital technologies to enhance EHS performance.

The candidate must have completed an M.E. in Industrial Safety Engineering, is DISH-approved, and possesses 4 to 7 years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and foster a strong EHS culture across the facility through employee engagement, awareness programs, safety campaigns, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement desktop applications, dashboards, and digital tools to support EHS management systems, reporting, analytics, and performance monitoring.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable EHS laws, regulations, statutory requirements, acts, and rules.
  • Lead the implementation of EHS requirements during new projects, process modifications, and machine installations.
  • Drive Contractor Safety Management programs, including contractor qualification, onboarding, risk assessment, monitoring, and compliance verification.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System requirements.
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) programs, including performance tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements and support related regulatory initiatives.
  • Promote digitalization in EHS through innovative technologies, automation, data analytics, AI-based solutions, and smart safety applications.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking to enhance workplace safety and environmental performance.
  • Prepare and maintain EHS reports, metrics, and management review presentations.

  • Uses safety or personal protective equipment, e.g. safety boots and protective eyewear.
  • Prepares for emergency situations according to EHS policy.
  • Replaces hazardous materials with environmentally friendly ones where appropriate.

  • Completes incident report forms after detecting risks or hazards in the workplace.
