Responsibilities

  • Trains employees on EHS guidelines, policies and procedures; regulations pertaining to EHS.

Role Definition

Participates in the design, implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and associated policies and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Performs inspections and tests planned to monitor specific EHS issues, regulations and company practices.
  • Assists in training employees on EHS guidelines, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to EHS.
  • Making and maintaining necessary EHS records according to established guidelines.
  • Contributes to the development of EHS policies and procedures.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements (EHS / Industrial Safety)

Diploma in Engineering (DME) or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech.) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Automobile Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Industrial Safety / Environment, Health & Safety (EHS).

OR

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Statistics with a minimum of 9 years of experience in Industrial Safety / Environment, Health & Safety (EHS).

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

ADIS / PDIS or equivalent Industrial Safety qualification from MSBTE/ CLI/RLI

Thorough knowledge of statutory EHS compliance, risk assessment, incident investigation, contractor safety, and safety management systems, Manufacturing Industry safety management

  • Completes incident report forms after detecting risks or hazards in the workplace.
