Job summary

Encalm Hospitality Private Limited is seeking a Front Desk/F&B lounge associate for its Goa lounge. The role involves greeting passengers, assisting with luggage, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining lounge cleanliness.

You will also coordinate with airlines for departures and support Meet and Greet services. Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in hotel/hospitality, a Hotel Management credential, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, receive and bid farewell to passengers at the front reception counter.
• Assist passengers with luggage on entry and exit at the lounge.
• Take orders from passengers and serve food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and lounge areas after service.
• Page for flight departures for contracted airlines and check lounge facilities.
• Be proficient with computer/email/internet to assist passengers as needed.
• Coordinate with team to maintain quality standards in F&B operations.
• Support Meet and Greet services when required.
• Familiarity with currency conversion rates and airport information.

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:-

• To greet, receive and bidfarewell to passengers in the front receptioncounter.
• To assist passengerswith their luggage on entry and exit at thelounge.
• To take order of thepassengers.
• To serve food and beverage topassengers.
• To clean the table afterpassengers finished their meal.
• To page for flight departure forcontracted airlines.
• To page for the availability ofshower facility to passengers on queue.
• To carry out regular checks ofall areas of the lounge, such as shower rooms, toilets toensure consistent cleanliness.
• To handle Meet and Greet servicewhen required.
• Must be well versed with thedifferent currency conversion rates.
• To possess a good knowledge ingeneral information of the airport including itsfacilities, flight schedules and airlines information, directionto the departure gates etc.
• To be well versed with thecomputer and/or email and internet services; to assistpassengers whenever required.
• To cooperate and work in a teamtowards development, implementation, maintenance andimprovement of the quality management system.
• Direct all aspects of operationsof the F&B department and control its quality inaccordance with company and ISO standard.
• To take initiative to identifyareas for improvement and participate in continualimprovement activities.
• To undertake other jobs assignedby superior from time to time.
  

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:-

• Minimum 3-6 years of experiencein Hotel/Hospitality/Restaurant or any other relatedindustry.
• Graduate/BHM/Diploma inHotel Management from any recognizedUniversity/Institute.
• Enthusiastic, Pleasingpersonality, good communication skills, Responsible, Smart &tidy in appearance, Excellent F&B knowledge.
• Consistently offer professional,friendly and engaging services.
• Follow all safety and sanitationpolicies when handling food and beverages.
