Emversity, Bengaluru-based higher-education-skilling platform, seeks an educator to deliver high-quality RT training for St. Peter's Bengaluru. The role covers classroom teaching, practical skill-lab training, student assessments, mentoring and employability-focused learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge and practical understanding of the relevant Allied Health Science discipline.
• Excellent teaching, presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
• Relevant teaching, clinical, laboratory or industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging theory and practical sessions for students in the Respiratory Therapy (RT) programme.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials and practical sessions in line with the approved curriculum.
• Conduct assessments, tests, practical evaluations and examinations as required.
• Manage classrooms, laboratories and skill labs to ensure effective practical learning.
• Mentor students and support their academic progress, discipline and professional development.
• Maintain student records, attendance, assessment data and academic documentation.
• Stay updated with developments in the relevant healthcare discipline, curriculum and industry practices.
• Coordinate with the university and Emversity academic teams on programme delivery and student outcomes.
• Contribute to employability-focused training, practical skill development and industry readiness.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The educator will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic and practical training for students enrolled in the Respiratory Therapy (RT) programme at St. Peter's – Bengaluru. The role will involve classroom teaching, practical/skill-lab training, student assessment, mentoring, and supporting employability-led learning outcomes.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

M.Sc. Respiratory Therapy / relevant postgraduate qualification in Respiratory Therapy, with a relevant B.Sc./BRT qualification.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong subject knowledge and practical understanding of the relevant Allied Health Science discipline.
• Excellent teaching, presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
• Relevant teaching, clinical, laboratory or industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage classrooms and skill labs effectively.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor students and work collaboratively with university and Emversity teams.

EMPLOYMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS

• 6 days working per week.
• Selected candidates will be transferred to the respective university payroll, subject to the applicable university process and terms.
• The position is based at St. Peter's – Bengaluru; candidates should be comfortable working from the assigned university campus.
• Faculty members will follow the academic, administrative, attendance and conduct policies of the respective university.
