Job description

We are looking for an experienced EDI Mapping Specialist with proven expertise in Sterling Gentran Server and IBM Sterling Integrator. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain efficient EDI mappings, ensuring seamless integration between internal systems and trading partners. This is a permanent position with flexibility to work remotely or from our Hyderabad office.

Responsibilities

• EDI Mapping: Develop and maintain EDI maps using Sterling Gentran Server and IBM Sterling Integrator to support various EDI standards, such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML.
• EDI Integration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external trading partners to understand integration requirements and ensure smooth EDI communications.
• Optimization: Continuously optimize and enhance EDI workflows and mappings to ensure efficient data exchange and reduce errors.
• Troubleshooting: Address and resolve EDI mapping errors and issues promptly to ensure data integrity and smooth operations.
• ERP Integration: Support integration of EDI systems with ERP platforms and other enterprise applications.
• Documentation & Training: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for EDI mapping processes, and provide training to internal teams when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in EDI mapping using Sterling Gentran Server and IBM Sterling Integrator.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML).
• Experience in testing and implementing EDI maps and resolving mapping-related issues.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and EDI integration processes.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with custom EDI solutions or scripting/programming to enhance EDI integrations.
