Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an EDI Business Analyst in Hyderabad with 5–8 years of experience, including at least 2 years in EDI, supply chain, logistics, or retail. The role requires familiarity with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON) and experience creating mapping specs and functional requirements for EDI transactions.

S/he should be comfortable with EDI platforms (Cleo CIC, IBM Sterling, OpenText) and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VANs). Hybrid work setup in Hyderabad is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional BA experience with at least 2 years in EDI, logistics or retail.
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON).
• Experience preparing mapping specs and FRDs for EDI transactions.

Primary

• 4+years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in EDI, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Retail industries.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON).
• Experience preparing mapping specifications and functional requirement documents for EDI transactions.
• Familiarity with EDI platforms (Cleo CIC, IBM Sterling, OpenText, etc.) and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VANs).

Secondary Skills

• Experience working with logistics-specific documents such as 204, 214, 210, 856, 990, 997.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, order management, or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA/Confluence.
• Exposure to API-based integrations alongside EDI is a plus.
