Job summary

Tekskills in Hyderabad offers an opportunity for an experienced EDI Business Analyst to join our hybrid team. The role requires 5–8 years of BA experience with at least 2 years in EDI, supply chain, logistics, or retail industries.

You will work with EDI platforms (Cleo CIC, IBM Sterling, OpenText) and design mapping specifications and functional requirements for EDI transactions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across logistics and ERP systems, applying knowledge of EDI standards

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, incl. 2+ years in EDI, supply chain, logistics, or retail.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON).
• Experience preparing mapping specifications and functional requirement documents for EDI transactions.
• Familiarity with EDI platforms (Cleo CIC, IBM Sterling, OpenText) and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VANs).

Role: EDI BA

Primary

• 4+years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in EDI, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Retail industries.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON).
• Experience preparing mapping specifications and functional requirement documents for EDI transactions.
• Familiarity with EDI platforms (Cleo CIC, IBM Sterling, OpenText, etc.) and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VANs).

Secondary Skills

• Experience working with logistics-specific documents such as 204, 214, 210, 856, 990, 997.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, order management, or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA/Confluence.
• Exposure to API-based integrations alongside EDI is a plus.
