Job Title: EDA Solutions Architect / Technical Lead

Remote Job

Shift Time : 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced EDA Solutions Architect / Technical Lead to support a global data center consolidation and infrastructure migration initiative focused on Electronic Design Automation (EDA) environments. This individual will play a critical role in assessing existing infrastructure, defining migration strategies, and developing technical execution plans for complex workload migrations across multiple international sites.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, not a project management position. The ideal candidate will have deep experience evaluating enterprise infrastructure, designing migration solutions, and guiding large-scale data center consolidations from assessment through execution.

Responsibilities

Lead technical assessments of existing EDA infrastructure and data center environments.

Evaluate compute, storage, network, and application dependencies to determine migration readiness.

Develop detailed infrastructure recommendations, including server, storage, and capacity requirements.

Create migration strategies and technical execution plans for workload consolidation initiatives.

Analyze data residency and regulatory requirements to determine which workloads and data must remain in-country versus those eligible for migration.

Partner with infrastructure, storage, network, and operations teams to support migration planning and execution.

Provide technical guidance throughout the migration lifecycle, from discovery and assessment through cutover and post-migration stabilization.

Support the consolidation of multiple EDA environments across sites in France and Italy.

Identify risks, dependencies, and technical constraints and recommend mitigation strategies.

Assist migration teams during implementation and provide architectural oversight as workloads transition to their target environments.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, architecture, or data center operations.

Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure migrations and data center consolidation projects.

Strong understanding of compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure platforms.

Experience performing workload assessments and developing infrastructure sizing and capacity recommendations.

Ability to independently evaluate environments and produce actionable technical migration plans.

Experience coordinating with global infrastructure and operations teams.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

Experience supporting Electronic Design Automation (EDA) environments is strongly preferred and considered the highest priority for this role.

Familiarity with EDA infrastructure requirements, workload characteristics, and associated compute and storage demands.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting semiconductor, engineering, or high-performance computing environments.

Exposure to Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) environments is beneficial but secondary to EDA expertise.

Experience working in multinational environments with data sovereignty and regional compliance considerations.
