Job summary

Nokia Bengaluru is seeking a Solution Owner, EDA to manage installation, maintenance and compatibility testing of EDA tools for RF, ASIC, Analog and FPGA design, driving installation processes and running sanity tests in a Linux GRID.

The role requires 5+ years supporting EDA environments globally, proficiency with Linux (RHEL8/9), and knowledge of toolchains from Synopsys, Cadence and Siemens, plus RF tools from Ansys, Keysight and Dassault. A scripting background (Python, shell) is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in supporting EDA environments globally.
• Experience installing EDA tools on Linux (RHEL8/9).
• Familiarity with digital IC design flows using Synopsys/Cadence/Siemens.
• Experience with RF design tools from Ansys/Keysight/Dassault/Modelithics.
• FPGA design tool familiarity with AMD/Altera.
• Strong Linux knowledge.
• Scripting in shell, Python, or Perl is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Solution Owner, EDA will play a crucial role in our FIT ITIS DO CBA HW Engineering department. They will be accountable for the installation, maintenance, and compatibility testing of EDA tools. This role requires expertise in managing EDA environments, tool installation, and working with various industry-leading tools and software. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective use of EDA tools, driving tool installation processes and running sanity test cases.

• Accountable for EDA tool installation, maintenance, and compatibility testing and maintenance for RF, ASIC, Analog and FPGA design.
• Implement and maintain regression tools from Synopsys and Siemens.
• Conduct compatibility testing of open-source tools in a Linux environment.
• Drive and oversee the tool installation process for RF EDA tools.
• Run end-user sanity test cases for RF EDA tools from Ansys, Siemens, Dassault, and Keysight.
• Maintain service support documents and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Infra teams to resolve day-to-day issues and provide support.
• Debug EDA tool issues in a Linux GRID environment using Altair Accelerator, LSF, or SLURM.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in EDA tools and technologies.
• Ensure smooth operations and efficient utilization of EDA resources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supporting EDA environments globally.
• Proficiency in installing EDA tools in Linux environments, specifically RHEL8 or RHEL9.

• Working knowledge of digital EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, and Siemens.
• Experience with RF design tools from Ansys, Keysight, Dassault, and Modelithics.
• Understanding of FPGA design tools from AMD and Altera.
• Strong working knowledge of the Linux environment.
• Experience with EDA tools in GRID environments, such as LSF or Altair Accelerator.
• Scripting knowledge is a plus (e.g., shell scripting, Python, or Perl).
