Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Embedded System Test Architect to define scalable, automated validation for embedded and IoT/gateway products. Lead end-to-end testing strategies across device, middleware, connectivity, and cloud layers, and drive CI/CD adoption in embedded environments.

Responsibilities include architecting test frameworks, validating security and OTA processes, and advancing HIL, simulation, and GenAI-enabled testing

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in embedded systems testing and validation methodologies.
• Proven experience in test architecture for embedded/IoT platforms.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Experience with RI & OTA validation, security validation, and device authentication.
• Familiarity with HIL setups, protocol analyzers, and CI/CD in embedded.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews and cross-functional collaboration.

• Define end-to-end test architecture and validation strategy for embedded and IoT/gateway platforms.
• Architect scalable test frameworks across device, middleware, connectivity, and application layers.
• Define automated validation approaches for embedded devices, gateways, edge systems, and cloud platforms.
• Design and implement test strategies: functional, system integration, connectivity, reliability, endurance, security, OTA/upgrade.
• Architect automated test environments for Linux-based embedded products using CI/CD and DevOps.
• Design scalable HIL, simulation, and virtual test environments.
• Drive test automation initiatives for embedded platforms, gateways, and distributed edge systems.
• Evaluate AI/ML-assisted testing, synthetic data, GenAI workflows, and modern validation trends.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated regression and validation practices.

Expected skill Set:

• Proven experience in test architecture for Embedded and connected systems.


• Strong scripting skills in Python.


• Experience with Robo test frameworks and continuous integration systems.


• Experience with OTA validation, secure boot testing, cybersecurity validation, and device authentication mechanisms.


• Familiarity with HIL setups, protocol analyzers, network analyzers, and debugging tools.


• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices in embedded environments.


• Strong understanding of performance, stress, scalability, and reliability testing for embedded and gateway platforms.


• Strong system-level debugging and root-cause analysis skills.


• Excellent technical leadership, collaboration, and architecture review capability.

Qualifications

B.E or B.Tech from a reputed college or university
