Job summary

The CISCE School is seeking an experienced Economics Teacher to deliver Classes IX to XII under the CISCE/ISC curriculum. The candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, classroom-management skills, and experience in preparing students for ISC Board examinations.

Key responsibilities include planning structured lessons, developing worksheets and assessments, and mentoring students. Prior CISCE/ISC school experience is preferred for this Full-Time role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. from a recognised institution is mandatory/preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience as an Economics Teacher.
• Prior CISCE/ISC-affiliated school experience is mandatory/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Economics for Classes IX to XII as per the CISCE/ISC curriculum.
• Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and application-based lessons.
• Prepare students comprehensively for CISCE Board examinations.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, papers, and revision materials.
• Teach and assess Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economic Development, Statistics and related topics.
• Use current economic affairs, case studies, graphs and data analysis for understanding.

Job Summary

• Provide individual guidance and mentoring to students.Participate in PTMs, academic meetings, workshops, examinations, school events, and departmental activities.
• Collaborate with the Academic Coordinator and other faculty members for curriculum planning and academic improvement.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Stay updated with CISCE/ISC curriculum changes, examination patterns, and assessment guidelines.
• Undertake any other academic responsibilities assigned by the school management.
