Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a seasoned PCB design engineer to design and develop multilayer PCBs for high-performance, high-reliability products. You will create schematics, BOMs, PCB layouts, and engineering documentation while supporting high-speed interfaces.

Responsibilities include stack-up analysis, SI/EMI/thermal compliance, Valor outputs, and producing production-ready documentation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and adhere to Aptiv quality standards throughout the design reviews

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in PCB design and verification.
• Experience in multilayer PCB design focusing on low-cost, high reliability and high volume manufacturing.
• Create schematics, BOMs, and support PCB layouts using Mentor DxDesigner, Xpedition and Valor.
• Experience with High-speed industry protocols like DDR5, SDRAM, PCIe, USB3, Ethernet, GMSL CSI and DSI interfaces, HDMI, WIFI BT, JESD204B/C.
• Layer stack-up analysis considering EMI/EMC, SI and Thermal needs.
• Experience in Valor creation and verification of Valor output.
• Experience in Siemens Expedition tool is mandatory.

Job description

Your Role:

Support high-speed hardware designs involving DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, and similar interfaces. Perform stack-up analysis and ensure PCB designs meet SI, EMI/EMC, and thermal requirements. Generate and verify manufacturing outputs, including Valor checks and production-related documents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in design reviews, and ensure compliance with Aptiv quality standards.

Your Background:

5 to 8 years of experience with B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in Electronics & Communication / Electrical / Instrumentation background. Design and verification of multilayer PCBs with focus on low-cost, high reliability and high volume manufacturing. Create schematics, bill of materials, and support PCB layouts using Mentor DxDesigner, Xpedition and Valor. Create design and production documentation (schematics, PCBs, electrical characteristics, etc.). Experience in High-speed industry protocols like DDR5, SDRAM, Pcie, USB3, Ethernet, GMSL CSI and DSI interfaces, HDMI, WIFI BT, JESD204B/C. Create Layer stack up Analysis Experience in PCB design by considering EMI/EMC, SI and Thermal Create Tooling and related required drawings. Valor creation and verification of Valor output. Circuit calculations and simulations as required for PCB design. Experience in Siemens Expedition tool is mandatory.
