Job summary

• Support children's learning through play-based and inquiry-based activities.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide individual attention based on learning needs.
• Assist with classroom prep, learning materials, displays, and resources.
• Support children’s social, emotional, language, and physical development.
• Supervise children during activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
• Encourage independence, creativity, curiosity and participation.
• Observe progress and share feedback with the lead teacher.
• Support routines, positive behaviour, and conflict resolution.
• Communicate professionally with teachers, parents, and staff.
• Follow school policies, safeguarding, health and safety guidelines, and IB practices.
• Assist with events, celebrations, field trips, and other school activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure wellbeing and safety of all children.
