Job summary

ICF in India is seeking a seasoned Environmental and Social Safeguards professional to support compliance, field monitoring, and documentation for CITIIS 2.0 activities in the Port Blair region.

The role involves reviewing DPRs and technical documents for E&S aspects, conducting field inspections, maintaining monitoring records, coordinating with project teams and agencies, and contributing to progress reports and platform reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years Experience in environmental/social safeguards and urban projects preferred. Relevant backgrounds include safeguard compliance, environmental monitoring, environmental management plans, site inspections and government project documentation.
• E&S safeguard monitoring; field inspection; compliance documentation; technical document review; risk identification; corrective-action tracking; project-team coordination; report writing.
