Job summary

Saur Energy International in Bengaluru is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer with 5 years of experience in urban infrastructure or municipal projects to support planning, DPR reviews, and field inspections.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, coordinating with contractors and government agencies, preparing reports, and maintaining site records to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and at least 5 years of urban infrastructure or municipal project experience.
• Hands-on experience in DPR review, construction monitoring, site supervision, and quality monitoring.
• Experience coordinating with ULBs or government agencies and preparing technical documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document site observations, constraints and corrective-action needs
• Support measurement and reporting of physical progress
• Coordinate with the Project Coordinator, contractors, consultants and municipal engineers
• Provide technical inputs to progress reviews and reports
• Maintain field records, inspection notes and photographic documentation
• Support CITIIS platform reporting and technical capacity-building activities

Required skills and abilities:

Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering. 5 years of experience in urban infrastructure or municipal projects. Relevant backgrounds include DPR review, construction monitoring, site supervision, quality monitoring, progress reporting and coordination with ULBs or government agencies. Hands on experience in Urban infrastructure implementation; DPR and technical document review; site monitoring; physical progress tracking; quality monitoring; technical documentation; contractor and government coordination.
