Job summary

Tata Steel invites applications for a design and engineering role focused on an integrated steel plant. The position involves conceptualization through detailed engineering, procurement engineering, interface management and construction deliverables, with emphasis on macro cost estimation and safety and quality considerations.

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech or B.Arch degree (AICTE/UGC approved) or equivalent in any discipline.
• Experience in design & engineering from concept to commissioning is desirable.
• Interface management and cross-department collaboration are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design & engineering from concept to commissioning of plant.
• Coordinate with technology suppliers, equipment vendors and other inter-departments for design & engineering.
• Assist in Value Engineering activities.
• Participate in 3D model reviews of respective areas to check and comment 3D models.
