Job Description

• Responsible for Strategic & Global sourcing and Supply Chain Management.
• To handle efficiently International inbound logistics and import operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable customs regulations and timely clearance of goods.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless import documentation, duty structure adherence, and logistics tracking.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to develop innovative and cost‑effective solutions tailored to market trends and business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement through research and development of battery technology and Energy Storage Solutions.
• Stay ahead of market trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings in the ESS space.
• Build and maintain strategic vendor partnerships for Cells, BMS, CAN Chargers, etc., fostering trust and ensuring a steady supply of materials and components.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including environmental, geopolitical and economical factors.
• Contract negotiation, contract management and warranty management.
• Negotiate with domestic and international suppliers to secure favourable terms while ensuring the timely availability of components and materials.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions.
• Collaborate with the finance team to align procurement strategies with budgetary goals and cost‑saving initiatives, while ensuring accurate reporting and vendor payment cycles.
• Maintain detailed records of quality audits and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address root causes of any issues.

What You Will Need

• 10+ years of experience in Product Development, Negotiations, Costing, Procurement, or Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence, preferably in the ESS or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Vendor Management, and Quality Control frameworks.
• Strong leadership and team‑building skills with the ability to manage cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Technical expertise in battery technology or related fields is a strong advantage.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision‑making.
• Collaborative and solution‑oriented approach to problem‑solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. (Preferred Industry: Energy Storage System / Electronics Manufacturing / Electric Vehicles)
• Should have excellent communication, fluency in English & interpersonal skills.
• Well versed with Sourcing & Supply Chain Laws, Import regulations, Global logistics, Contracts & Agreements.
