Job summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced Duck Creek Billing Developer in Pune to design, implement, and customize Duck Creek Billing solutions for P&C insurance projects. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver accurate billing functionality and robust integrations.

The role requires hands-on work with Duck Creek Billing, Duck Creek Author, and DCOD, along with REST/SOAP integrations, testing, and production support. Strong communication and agile experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Billing and related components.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance billing concepts.
• Experience with Duck Creek Author configurations, expressions and transactions.
• Exposure to system integrations and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure Duck Creek Billing components per standards.
• Customize billing transactions including invoicing, installments, payments, taxes and refunds.
• Develop and maintain billing extensions, scripts, and business rules.
• Work on integrations with Policy, Claims and third-party systems using APIs/web services.
• Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and support testing activities.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate billing requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in production support, upgrades, and billing enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with P&C insurance billing processes and regulatory requirements.

We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Billing Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in Duck Creek Billing (DCB) for P&C insurance implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting billing solutions while collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver high‑quality insurance systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure Duck Creek Billing (DCB) components using Duck Creek standards and best practices
• Customize billing transactions including invoicing, installments, payments, commissions, taxes, fees, and refunds
• Develop and maintain DC Billing extensions, scripts, and business rules
• Work on integrations with Policy, Claims, and third‑party systems using APIs, web services, and messaging
• Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and support system/integration testing
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand billing requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Participate in production support, upgrades, and billing‑related enhancements
• Ensure compliance with P&C insurance billing processes and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Duck Creek Billing
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance billing concepts
• Experience with Duck Creek Author, configurations, expressions, and transactions
• Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD) is a plus
• Exposure to system integrations, REST/SOAP web services
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills
