Job summary

ATS Aerial Telecom Solutions in India invites a Drive Test Engineer with 1–2 years experience in telecom network testing and RF optimisation. You will conduct drive tests, analyse performance and support optimisation for 4G LTE and 5G networks, with hands-on tools for drive tests and log analysis.

Ideal candidates understand KPIs such as RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, CQI, PCI and throughput, and can prepare technical reports using Excel and PowerPoint. Travel for field testing may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of drive testing and RF optimisation experience.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics & Communications Engineering or related field.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Drive Test Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in telecom network testing and RF optimisation. The candidate will be responsible for conducting drive tests, analysing network performance, identifying RF issues, and supporting optimisation activities for 4G LTE and 5G networks. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with drive test and log analysis tools and a solid understanding of mobile network KPIs.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in drive testing and RF optimisation.
• Good understanding of GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G NR technologies.
• Experience with drive test tools such as TEMS Investigation, Nemo Outdoor, or G-NetTrack.
• Experience with log analysis tools such as Actix Analyzer or TEMS Discovery.
• Strong understanding of LTE and 5G KPIs, including RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, CQI, PCI, and throughput.
• Working knowledge of VoLTE call testing and mobility analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and technical report preparation.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP and IMS is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in telecom network testing or RF optimisation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, or Samsung radio networks.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python or SQL is an advantage.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
