Job Summary

Skylark Drones is looking for skilled and responsible Drone Pilots to support large-scale drone missions for enterprise customers. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with drone technology, operating within structured processes, and delivering reliable mission outcomes.

We have openings for both on-field drone pilots who will travel extensively to mission sites across India, and office-based drone pilots who will support mission execution, monitoring, and coordination during night shifts.

Drone Pilots play a critical role in ensuring safe operations, high-quality data capture, and consistent execution of drone missions at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute drone missions in accordance with defined mission plans, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Operate drones and associated hardware to capture high-quality aerial data
  • For on-field pilots, travel extensively to customer sites and manage end-to-end mission execution on ground
  • For office-based pilots, support remote mission planning, monitoring, coordination, and night‑shift operations
  • Conduct pre‑flight and post‑flight checks and ensure equipment readiness
  • Ensure data captured meets quality standards and operational requirements
  • Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to improving mission workflows
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely mission delivery
  • Maintain accurate mission logs, documentation, and compliance records
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
  • Certified drone pilot as per applicable regulatory requirements
  • Strong understanding of drone operations, safety protocols, and airspace guidelines
  • Ability to follow procedures with high attention to detail
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts for office‑based roles
  • Willingness to travel extensively for on‑field roles
