Job Summary

Skylark Drones is looking for Drone Mission Operations Engineers to plan, execute, and optimize drone missions using technology-driven workflows and software platforms. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working with technology, systems, and data, and who enjoy ensuring that complex drone operations run smoothly and efficiently.

You will work at the intersection of operations, software, and field execution, using Skylark’s drone and analytics platforms to deliver reliable, scalable mission outcomes for enterprise customers. The focus is on operational excellence, system reliability, and continuous improvement through technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, configure, and execute drone missions using Skylark’s mission planning and operations platforms
  • Operate and monitor drone missions while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines
  • Use software tools to manage mission workflows, data capture, and post-mission processing
  • Identify operational gaps and work with technology teams to improve mission efficiency and reliability
  • Ensure mission data quality and completeness for downstream analytics and reporting
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of large-scale and repeatable operations
  • Maintain mission documentation, checklists, and operational records
  • Support continuous improvement of DMO processes through automation and standardization
