Opticvyu in Pune invites an experienced Drone Operations Specialist to safely conduct aerial surveys for construction and industrial sites. • Operate drones safely for aerial surveys, inspections, and data collection across construction, infrastructure, and industrial sites.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight checks, battery calibration, and inspections before each mission.
• Perform survey execution: aerial mapping, LiDAR, and photogrammetry surveys to capture geospatial data.
• Capture high-resolution imagery and sensor data for analysis and reporting.
• Process data with GIS/engineering teams into orthomosaics, point clouds, terrain models, and volumes.
• Adhere to DGCA regulations, log flights, and ensure safe operations in restricted areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of drone hardware and software.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to plan missions and deliver outputs.
• Prepare flight reports and technical presentations for stakeholders.

• Flight Operations: Operate drones safely and efficiently for aerial surveys, inspections, and data collection across construction, infrastructure, and industrial sites.
• Pre-Flight Checks: Conduct thorough equipment inspections, battery checks, and calibration before each mission to ensure safety and compliance.
• Survey Execution: Perform aerial mapping, LiDAR scanning, and photogrammetry-based surveys to capture accurate geospatial data.
• Data Collection: Capture high-resolution images, videos, and sensor data for analysis, reporting, and project documentation.
• Data Processing: Collaborate with GIS/engineering teams to process drone data into orthomosaics, point clouds, terrain models, and volumetric analysis.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to DGCA/aviation regulations, maintain flight logs, and ensure safe drone operations in restricted or sensitive areas.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and troubleshooting of drone hardware and software.
• Client Coordination: Work closely with project managers and clients to plan missions, deliver outputs, and provide technical support.
• Reporting: Prepare flight reports, survey documentation, and technical presentations for stakeholders.
