Job summary

Big Daddy Chain of Casinos, Golden Globe Hotels Private Limited in Panaji, Goa is seeking a licensed driver to safely and punctually transport guests, staff, and materials as per schedule. You will perform daily vehicle checks, maintain trip logs, assist with luggage, and coordinate with the Transport Supervisor for route planning.

A clean driving record and basic Hindi/English communication are required. Rotational shifts including nights and weekends are expected in a high-security, 24x7

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10th pass.
  • Valid commercial driving license (LMV/HMV) with clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional driving experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
  • Basic communication skills in Hindi/English.

Responsibilities

  • Drive assigned vehicles safely and punctually as per schedule/roster.
  • Pick up and drop off guests/staff at designated points, maintaining courteous conduct.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tyres, brakes, lights, cleanliness).
  • Report vehicle malfunctions or maintenance requirements to the Transport Supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain trip logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption reports as per SOPs.
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness and stock essential items (water, first-aid kit).
  • Follow traffic rules, speed limits and road safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist guests/staff with luggage or materials as required.
  • Coordinate with Transport Supervisor/ Dispatcher for assignments and route changes.

Purpose of the Role

To safely and punctually transport guests, employees, and materials as assigned, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations, vehicle maintenance standards, and high standards of guest service and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive assigned vehicles (guest shuttles, staff transport, company cars, or material transport) safely and punctually as per schedule/roster.
  • Pick up and drop off guests/staff at designated points, ensuring courteous and professional conduct at all times.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tyres, brakes, lights, cleanliness).
  • Report any vehicle malfunction, damage, or maintenance requirement to the Transport Supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain trip logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption reports as per company SOPs.
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean, presentable, and stocked with necessary items (water, first-aid kit, etc.) at all times.
  • Follow all traffic rules, speed limits, and road safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist guests/staff with luggage or materials as required.
  • Coordinate with the Transport Supervisor/Dispatcher for trip assignments, route planning, and schedule changes.
  • Handle toll payments, parking, and related documentation as applicable.
  • Respond promptly and safely to emergency or urgent transport requirements.
  • Maintain grooming, discipline, and conduct standards as per company policy.
Eligibility / Qualifications
  • Minimum 10th pass.
  • Valid commercial driving license (LMV/HMV as applicable) with clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional driving experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
  • Basic communication skills in Hindi/English.
  • Physically fit with good eyesight and reflexes.
