Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Chennai, India, is seeking a design engineer to drive shaft components using CATIA V5. You will create 3D models, 2D drawings and assembly layouts to support development from concept to production.

You will perform tolerance stack‑up analysis, prepare GD&T manufacturing drawings, and collaborate with CAE, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and Testing to validate designs. The role also involves supporting DFMEA, ECN/ECR processes and maintaining complete engineering

Qualifications

• Design drive shaft components using CATIA V5.
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings and assembly layouts.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T as per industry standards.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and support design validation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with CAE, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and Testing.
• Support design reviews, DFMEA, and engineering change management (ECN/ECR).
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, automotive standards and design guidelines.
• Resolve design issues during prototype and production stages.
• Maintain engineering documentation and BOM.
