Job summary

Feedback Infra is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to develop and update 2D drawings for highway and road infrastructure projects in Gurugram. You will convert designs into precise drawings, including alignment, plan and profile, cross-sections, pavements, drainage, road furniture and traffic management details.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and highway design software, coordinating with multiple engineering teams to ensure standards and client requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D CAD drawings for highway and road infrastructure projects.
• Develop drawings for alignment, plan and profile, cross-sections, typical sections, and geometric details.
• Prepare drawings for carriageways, medians, shoulders, intersections, service roads, ramps, and access roads.
• Prepare drawings for earthwork, formation levels, embankments, cut sections, slopes, retaining structures, and road widening works.
• Develop and update drainage drawings including longitudinal drains, cross drainage, culverts, catch pits, and side drains.
• Prepare road furniture and traffic management drawings including signs, road markings, delineators, guardrails, crash barriers, and other safety features.
• Prepare drawings for pavement layers and pavement details per design requirements.
• Prepare quantity-related/BOQ drawings and measurement drawings as required.
• Convert engineering concepts and survey inputs into accurate CAD drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, codes, specifications and client requirements.
• Incorporate revisions from Design Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Clients.
• Coordinate with Highway Engineers, Surveyors, Geotechnical Engineers, Drainage Engineers, Structural Engineers and others to maintain drawing consistency.
• Check drawings for dimensions, levels, chainages, coordinates, scales, annotations, layer standards, and accuracy.
• Maintain CAD standards, layer management, blocks, templates, title blocks, numbering and revision control.
• Prepare drawings for tender, detailed design, construction and as-built requirements.
• Assist engineers with survey data, topographical information, alignment data and design calculations.
• Prepare cross-section drawings at specified chainages and update with design changes.
• Use AutoCAD and highway design software as applicable.
• Maintain organized records of drawing files, revisions, and CAD data.
• Review and incorporate Redline/Markup comments and reflect revisions in final drawings.
• Support construction drawings and shop/detail drawings as required.
• Ensure timely completion according to project schedule and deliverables.
• Follow quality management procedures, document control and HSE/project protocols.
• Perform other CAD drafting and documentation activities for highway projects.

• Develop drawings for horizontal and vertical alignment, plan and profile, cross-sections, typical sections, and geometric details.


• Prepare detailed drawings for carriageways, medians, shoulders, intersections, junctions, service roads, ramps, and access roads.


• Prepare drawings for earthwork, formation levels, embankments, cut sections, slopes, retaining structures, and road widening works.


• Develop and update drainage drawings, including longitudinal drains, cross drainage works, culverts, catch pits, side drains, and associated details.


• Prepare road furniture and traffic management drawings, including signs, road markings, delineators, guardrails, crash barriers, and other safety features.


• Prepare detailed drawings for pavement layers and pavement details in accordance with approved design and project requirements.


• Prepare quantity-related drawings, BOQ drawings, and measurement drawings as required by the project team.


• Convert engineering concepts, sketches, survey information, and design inputs into accurate and detailed CAD drawings.


• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, relevant codes, specifications, and client requirements.


• Incorporate comments and revisions received from Design Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Clients and maintain updated drawing versions.


• Coordinate with Highway Engineers, Surveyors, Geotechnical Engineers, Drainage Engineers, Structural Engineers, and other disciplines to ensure drawing consistency.


• Check drawings for dimensions, levels, chainages, coordinates, scales, annotations, layer standards, and drafting accuracy before submission.


• Maintain proper CAD standards, layer management, blocks, templates, title blocks, drawing numbering, and revision control.


• Prepare drawings for tender, detailed design, construction, and as-built requirements.


• Assist engineers in preparing drawings based on survey data, topographical information, alignment data, and design calculations.


• Prepare and maintain cross-section drawings at specified chainages and update them based on design changes.


• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD and relevant highway/road design software, as applicable to the project.


• Maintain an organized record of drawing files, revisions, references, and supporting CAD data.


• Review and incorporate Redline/Markup comments and ensure all revisions are accurately reflected in the final drawings.


• Support the preparation of construction drawings and shop/detail drawings as required.


• Ensure timely completion and submission of drawings according to the project schedule and deliverables.


• Follow company quality management procedures, document control requirements, and HSE/project protocols.


• Perform other CAD drafting and documentation activities related to highway and infrastructure projects as assigned by the reporting manager.
