Job summary

Quality HR India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Draughtsman for our automotive fabrication division in Vatva, Ahmedabad. You will create detailed 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in SolidWorks for fabrication equipment, ensuring dimensions, tolerances and BOMs are precise.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience, ASME/IS code knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with design and production teams to implement design changes and maintain drawing revision control.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D.
• Experience in fabrication equipment drafting and detailing.
• Knowledge of ASME / IS codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with BOM and material specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in SolidWorks for fabrication equipment.
• Develop fabrication and manufacturing drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, BOM and material specifications.
• Prepare drawings for Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels and Process Equipment.
• Work on drawings related to HP/LP Heaters, Water Cooled Condensers, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers and Process Heat Exchangers.
• Coordinate with design, production and fabrication teams for drawing modifications and technical requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable ASME / IS Codes and engineering standards.
• Revise drawings based on design changes, site requirements and engineering feedback.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revision control.
