CNIM MARTIN Private Limited invites a skilled draftsman for boiler engineering based in Chennai. You will draft general arrangement, P&ID and structural inputs, plus boiler pressure parts and vessels, ducts, hoppers, and casings, while ensuring code compliance.

The position requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (4–7 years) with AutoCAD (2D) proficiency; 3D CAD is a plus. Experience with grate-fired boilers or waste-to-energy boilers is advantageous.

Formación

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 4–7 years of work experience.
• 2D software knowledge: AutoCAD.
• 3D software knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience in the field of grate fired boilers; waste to energy boilers experience is added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Drafting of General Arrangement, P&ID & structural input drawings.
• Drafting of boiler pressure parts & pressure vessels.
• Drafting of boiler structure, ducting’s, hoppers and casings.
• Knowledge of materials used and relevant codes and standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes in all drafting activities, especially concerning boiler engineering.
• Prepare and maintain documents/records as per ISO.
• Other responsibilities as directed by reporting manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• DRAFTING OF GENERAL ARRANGEMENT, P&ID & STRUCTURAL INPUT DRAWINGS
• DRAFTING OF BOILER PRESSURE PARTS & PRESSURE VESSELS
• DRAFTING OF BOILER STRUCTURE, DUCTING’S, HOPPERS AND CASINGS
• KNOWLEDGE OF MATERIALS USED AND RELEVANT CODES AND STANDARDS.
• ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE CODES IN ALL DRAFTING ACTIVITIES, ESPECIALLY CONCERNING BOILER ENGINEERING.
• PREPARE AND MAINTAIN DOCUMENT/ RECORDS AS PER ISO.
• OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AS DIRECTED BY REPORTING MANAGER

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING WITH 4 – 7 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE
• 2D SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE: AUTOCAD.
• 3D SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE IS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE.
• EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF GRATE FIRED BOILERS. WASTE TO ENERGY BOILERS EXPERIENCE IS ADDED ADVANTAGE.
