- Develop and maintain layered P & ID drawings in AutoCAD based on inputs and instructions provided by Process Engineers.
- Incorporate approved design changes, engineering inputs, and review comments into drawings.
- Maintain proper drawing revision control, revision histories, and traceability of changes.
- Ensure consistency across PFDs, P & IDs, equipment tags, instrument tags, line numbers, and associated engineering documents.
- Prepare and update As-Built PFDs and P & IDs to reflect approved design changes and site modifications.
- Perform self-checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and quality of drawings before submission for review.
- Identify discrepancies and seek clarification from the responsible Process Engineer before incorporating changes that may impact process design.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of drawings in line with project schedules and engineering requirements.
- Support project execution by addressing drawing-related issues and incorporating approved modifications.
2. Process Engineering Documentation
- Prepare and update line lists, equipment lists, instrument lists, valve lists, tie-in lists, and other process engineering documents as required.
- Extract, compile, and maintain line, valve, instrument, and equipment data from approved engineering drawings and related documents.
- Ensure consistency in document numbering, equipment and instrument tagging, line numbering, and drawing formats in accordance with project standards.
- Maintain drawing registers, document revision records, and engineering documentation for effective tracking and retrieval.
- Support the preparation of As-Built drawings and final project documentation.
- Coordinate with Process Engineers and other engineering disciplines, including Piping, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical, and Electrical, to resolve drawing interfaces and discrepancies.
- Incorporate comments from engineering reviewers and other stakeholders and ensure timely closure of drawing-related observations.
- Maintain consistency between engineering drawings and associated documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
