Job summary

BioTalent Search is hiring Drafting / Sr. Drafting Engineers – Project Work for a leading HVAC industrial segment company. The role requires coordination with design and drafting teams, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and willingness to travel pan-India for client or consultant requirements.

Ideal candidates will have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years) with 5+ years or ITI with 7+ years experience, and knowledge of SMACNA/IS codes for 3D coordination and GFC drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 Years) with 5 years experience or ITI with 7 years experience.
• Capable to work effectively as a team of Designer/Drafting team.
• Ready to travel/relocate pan India as per client or consultant requirements.
• Meticulous in detail engineering and can interplay with project teams, consultant/customer & vendors.
• Knowledge of SMACNA/IS code and good hand on AutoCAD/Revit (3D) with spatial conceptualization/visualization for coordination of various services in the layouts & generate GFC drawing.

Responsibilities

• Make Project base point set up.
• Link Revit file/other services files, import, copy/monitor & manage the link.
• Develop HVAC Duct system with classification & system type.
• Create duct layout and duct sizing, justification, connect air terminals & flexible duct.
• Create Piping & Cable tray layout with tagging.
• Making View templates, Work sets and Filters for HVAC Systems.
• Schedules and take-off quantities using Revit.
• Creating Legends and Title block Sheets.
• Creating Family creation like AHU, Plenum, Air terminal, Annotation family.
• Section view, callout view & walk-through settings.
• Exporting Revit model drawings, PDFs & Navisworks.
• Maintain the LOD 350 (Minimum).

• Ready to travel/relocate in pan India as per client or consultant requirements.
• Meticulous in detail Engineering and can interplay with project teams, consultant/Customer & Vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Skill set shall be detailed engineering with Drawings/BOM development, customer/consultant interaction for coordination and specifically to cover:
