Job summary

RENQ Power Solutions India Pvt Ltd in India is seeking a skilled Draftsman to prepare 2D drawings, layouts and technical drawings for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects using AutoCAD.

You will develop solar module layouts, electrical layouts and single-line diagrams (SLD), manage revisions, and coordinate with Project Engineers to incorporate site requirements.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.
• Experience in Solar / Electrical / EPC drafting is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, and technical drawings for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
• Prepare solar module layouts, electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), cable routing, and related drawings.
• Develop and modify drawings using AutoCAD based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers and other technical teams to incorporate site requirements and design changes.
• Prepare drawings based on site measurements, project specifications, and engineering inputs.
• Make revisions and updates to drawings as required during project execution.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, properly dimensioned, and follow project standards.
• Maintain and organize project drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
• Assist the engineering team with drawing-related technical requirements.
• Coordinate with site teams to resolve drawing-related issues when required.

• Good understanding of dimensions, layouts, and basic engineering concepts.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively with Project and Engineering teams.
