Job summary

ARCON is seeking an experienced .NET Full Stack Technical Lead to oversee the engineering team in Mumbai. You will lead, mentor, unblock roadblocks, conduct code reviews, and guide sprint deliveries while staying hands-on in core architecture.

You will own architecture across the .NET stack, front-end (Angular/React), APIs, and cloud deployment pipelines with a focus on scalable microservices, CI/CD, Docker, and Azure/AWS.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive .NET Full Stack Technical Lead to oversee our engineering team while driving high-quality software delivery. In this role, your primary responsibility will be team leadership and management guiding developers, unblocking daily technical roadblocks, conducting rigorous code reviews, aligning sprint deliveries, and mentoring engineers.

Alongside people management, you will remain hands-on in core architecture, critical modules, API design, and system-level troubleshooting across the .NET stack, front-end ecosystems (Angular/React), and cloud deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management & Leadership (Primary Focus)

• Team Guidance & Unblocking: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full-stack engineers; conduct regular 1-on-1s, technical goal setting, and performance evaluations.
• Sprint & Delivery Ownership: Collaborate with Product Managers and Scrum Masters to break down functional requirements into technical tasks, provide realistic estimations, and ensure on-time delivery across sprints.
• Code Quality & Governance: Establish development best practices, enforce strict code review standards, maintain test coverage, and track engineering debt.
• Resource Allocation & Capacity Planning: Manage team bandwidth, balance developer workloads, identify skill gaps, and coordinate targeted upskilling.
• Hiring & Mentorship: Participate actively in talent evaluation, technical interviews, and onboarding of new engineering hires.

Architecture, Design & Hands-On Engineering

• Software Architecture: Architect scalable, clean, and secure enterprise web applications using modern design patterns (Microservices/Clean Architecture, CQRS, Repository pattern).
• Back-End Engineering: Provide hands-on leadership in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL Server, writing critical-path code and complex database queries.
• Front-End Oversight: Guide front-end architecture and maintain UI standards using HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and React or Angular.
• API & Integration: Oversee the design, integration, and security of high-throughput RESTful APIs and asynchronous event-driven services.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Drive automated testing strategies (Unit, Integration, and Mock frameworks) to maintain release stability and prevent regressions.
• CI/CD & Deployment: Partner with DevOps to maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployments (Azure/AWS) to ensure zero-downtime releases.
